Qiskit Fall Fest is the world’s largest collection of student-run quantum computing events. As one of the 250 sponsored international universities selected to host it, we bring together a collection of talented quantum enthusiasts along with IBM Quantum members to mark a celebration of the advances that quantum computing has made in the past year, with experienced quantum scientists and budding young quantum enthusiasts collaborating to showcase their talents at the workshops and hackathons at the NIT Puducherry campus. The Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 at National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY) brings students, researchers, and enthusiasts together to explore the future of quantum computing. In partnership with IBM Quantum, this festival blends workshops, mentoring sessions, and a fast-paced hackathon to help participants design practical solutions using Qiskit and IBM’s cloud-based quantum systems.
Qiskit is an open-source framework developed by IBM for quantum computing. It allows users to create and run quantum programs on both simulators and real quantum hardware. Qiskit includes tools for building quantum circuits, simulating quantum systems, and developing quantum algorithms.
